Ringkasan program
This program was designed to provide the student with knowledge of basic science, engineering science and engineering design. Engineering design is emphasized throughout the curriculum beginning with the introductory courses. Students will design individually and as part of a design team. The curriculum culminates in a multi-disciplinary capstone design. Upon graduation, students are prepared to work immediately in most areas of the profession. Undergraduate course work will be available in most major fields of civil engineering. These include: fluid mechanics, construction materials, construction engineering, transportation engineering, structural engineering, and geotechnical engineering.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Eligibility for admission as a freshman is determined primarily on the basis of high school preparation, the SAT or ACT score, and the TOEFL score. Official SAT or ACT and TOEFL reports are required. TOEFL - a minimum score of 550 (paper) or 213 (computer) is required for admission. Additional admission consideration will be based on an evaluation of involvement and level of responsibility in extracurricular activities and involvement in responsible, non-academic activities while attending high school. The Texas THEA test may be required during the first semester, depending on SAT/ACT score.
