This program prepares students seeking professional careers in information science to assume positions of responsibility for information systems and technology in any organization. By exposing the student to a broad range of business and industry practices for information systems, the student would be well equipped for a position as a systems analyst, computer programmer, database designer/administrator, web designer or computer marketing.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have a graduation from an accredited high school. All students from countries where English is not the native language must demonstrate five hundred (500) or higher on the written TOEFL examination or a score of 173 or higher on the computer-based TOEFL examination by submitting an official copy of the TOEFL grade report. They need to complete both the English and reading sequences of the Cumberland University developmental studies program if proficiency in English is not demonstrated. In addition to this, a cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale is required, if the high school does not provide it or if Cumberland University academic advisors cannot evaluate the transcript properly. ACT or SAT examinations are required for freshmen or transfers who have less than 30 hours of college work. The minimum scores that are required for a composite score of 21 ACT composite, 980/990 SAT critical reading and math combined score. Students who have completed a thirteenth year in a secondary (high) school must take and pass CLEP examinations to receive college credit for courses taken in that thirteenth year. All international students must enroll in health and accident insurance approved by Cumberland University and provides evidence of appropriate insurance.
