Ringkasan program
This program provides a contemporary curriculum in a healing, freedom-minded environment for students seeking to increase their general knowledge about gerontology, a professional concentration by majoring in the field and/or academic and career preparation for graduate studies in gerontology or a related field. The study of aging is one of the most exciting and relevant topics in modern science. As undergraduate students at Martin University this program will provide students with the opportunity to be directly involved with aging persons through both practicum and internships. It will give individuals the knowledge they need to make a meaningful difference in their own lives, in the lives of their families, as well as in local organizations and communities.

This program modules include PSY 101 Introduction to Psychology 3; GER 101 Introduction to Gerontology 3; GER 201 Aging Policies and Programs in Indiana 3; GER 210 Psychology of Aging 3; PSY 212 Life Span Development 3; PSY 267 Statistics for the Behavioral and Social Sciences 3; GER 320 Aging 3; the Aged 3; and the Family 3; GER 330 Cross Cultural Perspective on Aging 3; PSY 345 Psychology of Death and Dying 3; PSY 390 Physiological Psychology 3; GER 400 Ethnicity 3; Gender 3; and Aging 3; GER 460 Ethical Issues in Geriatric Health Care 3; GER 495 Practicum/Field Work in Gerontology 3; GER 499 Final Project/ Gerontology Portfolios 3.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have completed high school or GED. International students must have obtained Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score.
