Ringkasan program
This program can lay the groundwork for becoming a police officer; federal or state law enforcement officer; loss prevention officer or contingency manager in the corporate world; probation or parole officer; sheriff’s deputy; detention or custodial officer in a city, county, state or federal jail or prison; victim’s advocate at the county, state or federal level. After receiving their degree, they will need further training at a police academy or department for most law enforcement jobs. They may become a criminal lawyer, administrator with a criminal justice agency or researcher in crime and law enforcement by attending graduate school.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have graduated from an accredited high school and strongly recommend that students take the following classes in high school. Students should have a strong ‘B’ average and have completed three units of English and two units each of solid mathematics, social science and natural science. Students should have a minimum combined SAT (combined critical reading/verbal and math) score of 1180 or ACT composite of 26. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
