Uraian Tempat

The Department has 14 full time faculty members, approximately 25 graduate students, and approximately 250 undergraduate majors. The size of the classes is small and thus the faculty will get to know as a person. Students will have many opportunities to develop very beneficial relationships with the faculty at ESU. Many students engage in some type of research experience working with a faculty member, either on the faculty member's ongoing research or on a research project of their own design.

The university has two on-campus living areas have the capacity to house more than 1,100 students. Each room is furnished with beds, desks, chairs and storage space (closet or wardrobe). Each hall provides study areas, laundry rooms, recreation facilities, computer labs, message service and common lounges. Emporia State Apartments consists of 64 one-bedroom and 32 two-bedroom units, furnished or unfurnished. They are available to all students beyond traditional freshman status. Emporia State University housing facilities are available to all students without regard to age, race, color, religion, gender, marital status (apartments), national origin, handicap or disability status as a Vietnam Era Veteran, sexual orientation or other factors which cannot be lawfully considered, to the extent specified by applicable federal and state laws.
