Ringkasan program
This program is designed to prepare candidates to meet Nebraska teacher certification requirements in grades 7-12 content areas, or K-12 art, music and physical education. All secondary candidates must meet the state licensure standard of a minimum of 100 hours of classroom experience prior to student teaching. Field experiences are embedded in identified professional courses. A minimum of 125 credit hours and a minimum GPA of 2.5 is required to graduate from the College of Education. The required coursework for secondary education is divided into four areas: General Education, Professional Core, Secondary Major, and Endorsement Areas.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must be graduates of a regionally accredited high school, or must have completed the equivalent academic training. They must have also completed English 4 units, Mathematics 3 units, Social Sciences 3 units, Natural Sciences 3 units, Foreign Language - 2 units, and Additional Academic Requirement - 1 unit. The TOEFL score of 487 paper based or 163computer based or 57 internet based are also required.
