This program produces graduates with skills in designing computer hardware and peripherals, and emphasizes the electrical characteristics of the computer itself. It is focused particularly on designing the computer hardware, associated core software structures and their interfaces. the computer engineering undergraduate program educational objectives are that our alumni/ae: make technical contributions to design, development, and manufacturing in their practice of computer engineering; demonstrate professionalism and a sense of societal and ethical responsibility in all their endeavors; and, engage in professional development or post-graduate education to pursue flexible career paths amid future technological changes.

Students should complete, as a minimum, the following college preparatory courses while in high school: Four years of English, three years of math (algebra I, algebra II and geometry), two years of social studies (including one year of U.S. History), two years of a single foreign language (3 years strongly recommended), two years of laboratory science, three years of electives. The minimum score requirement for the TOEFL is 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), or 79 (Internet-based). The minimum score requirement for the IELTS exam is 6.5.
