Ringkasan program
This program is to produce graduates who: have a strong foundation of knowledge in mathematics, science, and mechanical engineering and are equipped with skills in problem solving, design, teamwork, and communication that will serve them throughout their careers; are able to pursue successful careers as practicing mechanical engineers in manufacturing industries, energy and utility companies, and engineering consulting firms; are able to successfully pursue advanced studies in mechanical engineering; in related technical areas such as physics, applied mathematics, and other engineering disciplines; and in other professional fields; and are able to assume professional leadership roles. Bio-engineering is a growing area of engineering research and development. Mechanical engineers can significantly contribute to the biomedical area due to the broad reach of the mechanical engineering curriculum. Several systems in the human body involve phenomena, such as fluid, heat and mass transport, material response to deformation, dynamics and kinematics of moving parts etc. where the expertise of mechanical engineers can be invaluable in design, analysis and therapeutics. Specific areas of current and potential application of mechanical engineering principles include cardiovascular biomechanics, biomaterials processing, manufacture and design of implants, stents, valves, vascular shunts and other therapeutic devices, medical imaging and simulation, ergonomics, biomeasurements and instrumentation, thermal control of bio-environments and others. Three possible tracks are: solids track, fluid track, biomechanics track.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have completed academic upper secondary school (generally a total of 12-13 years of primary and secondary education), or a corresponding secondary school diploma or leaving certificate. They must meet above-average grades in a university-preparatory program. They should have completed the required amount of secondary school preparation in the following areas: mathematics four years, science three years, social studies two years, native language four years and single foreign language two years. Students whose first language is not in English must have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 530 on the paper-based test or 71 on the internet-based test for regular admission, or they should have a minimum International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5.
