Ringkasan program
This program specializes in those aspects of engineering that pertain to effectiveness of whole systems. In contrast to other engineering specialties which are grounded in certain aspects of science, system engineering is grounded primarily in mathematics and methodology.
Modul program
The modules include SE 140 (Intro to Cognitive Science), CSE 391 (Introduction to Artificial Intelligence), MSE 220 (Properties of Materials), ESE 408 (previously TCOM 370) (Digital Communication), ESE 250 (Logistics, Manufacturing, and Transportation), ESE 405 (Systems Methodology), ESE 501 (Multicriteria Decision Making), ESE 502 (Spatial Data Analysis), ESE 564 (Environmental Impact Assesment), ESE 567 (Risk Analysis and Environment), ESE 608 (Intelligent and Animated Software Agents), MATH 241 (Advanced Calculus), MATH 370 (Algebra).
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants should have completed a program of secondary education. They should also take up the SAT Reasoning test and two SAT subject tests, or the ACT with writing. Penn tends to admit students with a TOEFL score of 100 and above in Internet-Based test, 600 and above in Paper-Based test and 260 or above in Computer-Based test. However, if a student scores higher than 650 on the Critical Reading Section of the SAT Reasoning test, then the student is exempted from taking the TOEFL exam.
