Ringkasan program
This program is built upon a strong foundation of science, mathematics and technical course work designed to meet the diverse needs of a mechanical engineering technologist. In this program students will study data collection and analysis, documentation, mechanical design, industrial operation, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, product design and development, assembly and detail drawing of machine parts, computer-aided engineering, engineering graphics, manufacturing processes and materials, strength of materials, and quality assurance. It is integrated with the manufacturing engineering technology program so they will learn about the design and manufacturing process. Computer-aided design, engineering and manufacturing software are in the many computer labs at UNT's Discovery Park.

The modules include MEET 3650 Design of Mechanical Components 3, MEET 3940 Fluid Mechanics Applications 3, MEET 3990 Applied Thermodynamics 3, MEET 4050 Mechanical Design 3, MEET 4350 Heat Transfer Applications 3, MEET 4360 Experimental Thermal Sciences 2, MEET 4780 Senior Design I 1 and MEET 4790 Senior Design II 3; ENGR 1304 Engineering Graphics 3, ENGR 2301 Statics 3, ENGR 2302 Dynamics 3, ENGR 2332 Mechanics of Materials 4, ENGR 2405 Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering 4, ENGR 3340, ENGR 3450/3451 Engineering Materials 3/Engineering Materials Lab 1, ENGR 3880; MFET 3110 Machining Principles and Processes 4, MFET 4190 Quality Assurance 3, MFET 4200 Engineering Cost Analysis 2 and MFET 4210 CAD/CAM System Operations 3; ELET 3980 Digital Control of Industrial Processes 3, CSCE 1020 Program Development 4; plus 3 hours of technical electives and 3 hours of advanced technical options.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have graduated from an accredited high school and strongly recommend that students take the following classes in high school. Students should have a strong ‘B’ average and have completed three units of English and two units each of solid mathematics, social science and natural science. Students should have a minimum combined SAT (combined critical reading/verbal and math) score of 1180 or ACT composite of 26. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
