Ringkasan program
This program prepares students for professional work related to financial and housing resource management. Students also are trained in housing and family policy that can be applied at the national, state, and local levels. Graduates of the program are prepared for employment within the public and private sector. FFHP majors also are prepared to enter graduate programs in family policy and family financial planning. The FFHP curriculum includes studies drawn from business, communications, design, economics, education, family studies, political science, psychology, and sociology. Graduates of the Family Finance option go on to work for banks, financial and investment firms, credit unions and state and federal governments. Possible career options include investment advisor, financial planner, financial aid officer, insurance agent, consumer credit counselor, loan officer. Graduates of the Family Policy or Housing option work with real estate firms, non-profit organizations, government agencies, extension services, and more. Possible career options includes property managers, real estate agents, policy analysts, housing advocates, program caseworkers, mortage lenders and housing planners.

Students should have enrolled in high school and college courses concurrently (regardless of the number of credits) or never attended college or have attempted fewer than 12 semester college credits since graduating from high school. International student’s should have a minimum English proficiency requirement may be met with one of the following exams such as TOEFL IBT score of 71 (minimum score of 17 in the speaking and writing sections); TOEFL PBT 530; IELTS score of 6.0 (minimum score of 5.5 in all sub-sections); SAT critical reading score of 420.
