Ringkasan program
The investments track prepares student for positions such as portfolio manager, security analyst, and investment broker. Students study modern concepts and issues in financial options and futures markets. Students also study risk management, working capital management, and capital budgeting issues.
Modul program
The courses are: University Core Curriculum, Professional Business Core, Fin 331 Investments, Fin 341 Financial Markets, Fin 361 Management of Business Finance, Acct 321 Intermediate Accounting I, or Acct 331 Cost Accounting, Fin 432 Options and Future Markets, Fin 433 Portfolio Theory and Management, Fin 449 Management of Financial Institutions, Fin 462 Working Capital Management, Fin 463 Forecasting and Capital Budgeting, Fin 464 International Financial Management.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Finance Majors must maintain a cumulative 2.00 grade point average in the Finance prefix (FIN) courses taken at SIUC in addition to meeting all of the College of Business's retention and graduation requirements. Finance Majors who fail for two consecutive semesters to maintain the 2.00 cumulative grade point average in Finance Prefix courses will be required to drop Finance as their major.
