Ringkasan program
This program is the creative systematic application of knowledge utilizing human and natural resources involving, tools, equipment, techniques, processes, scientific principles, and management skills to produce and distribute goods, services, and information. As the engineering and management career fields have become increasingly specialized, a void has been created between line workers who actually produce products and render services. Industrial Technology ties these vital positions together by preparing graduates who can creatively apply human and technical skills to the solution of problems. The curriculum offers the student: communication, planning and leadership skills required for industrial management; math, science, and design related skills needed to coordinate with engineering and production; hands-on training in industrial computer applications; a broad knowledge of industrial and manufacturing processes and materials.

Eligibility for admission as a freshman is determined primarily on the basis of high school preparation, the SAT or ACT score, and the TOEFL score. Official SAT or ACT and TOEFL reports are required. TOEFL - a minimum score of 550 (paper) or 213 (computer) is required for admission. Additional admission consideration will be based on an evaluation of involvement and level of responsibility in extracurricular activities and involvement in responsible, non-academic activities while attending high school. The Texas THEA test may be required during the first semester, depending on SAT/ACT score.
