This program provides the knowledge to successfully apply information technology theory and principles to address real world business opportunities and challenges. Under the guidance of practitioner faculty, the student uses innovative digital materials to develop competencies to apply: Systems Analysis and Design, Computer Programming, Database Development, Network Technologies, Information Systems Security, Web Technologies and Project Planning. This program's specialization, Information Systems Security, concentrates on the concepts and principles of securing and protecting the information assets of the organization. The curriculum is designed to produce graduates ready to function in information technology positions with the competencies, skills, and attitudes necessary for success in the workplace. It forms the basis for continued career growth, life-long learning as an IT professional, or a future graduate program.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicant must have earned a high school diploma, GED, California High School Proficiency Examination certificate, or foreign secondary school equivalent. Applicants who do not currently meet this requirement can arrange to take the GED through their state GED administrator's office or search for the nearest GED testing center. They can be currently employed and if not, they must have access to an organizational environment that allows them to apply the concepts they learn in their courses. They can be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or hold an approved, valid visa if attending a campus located in the United States. Students should pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC), the Berlitz Online English Proficiency Exam or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) if the student is a non-native speaker of English.
