The objective of Stratford University’s Bachelor’s of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) prepares students for a career as a programmer analyst, business analyst, system analyst, software engineer, security engineer, telecommunications engineer, web designer, IT project manager, or similar positions where a good understanding of business, management, and the latest trends in Information Technology are required. The program focuses on the IT fundamentals, data communication, network infrastructure, programming languages, web design, requirement specifications, software analysis design, software development, quality assurance, process and project management of information systems, and on the human and organizational arrangements needed to use information systems to achieve organizational goals.

Stratford University has partnered with Collegiate Housing Services (CHS) to offer comfortable and affordable dormitory-style apartments near both campuses. CHS provides a leasing program with the following features are individual leases are issued to each student, students can choose or be matched with compatible roommate, students are able to transfer between apartments and roommates, rental rates include utilities and furniture, lease corresponds with school term, apartments have many amenities to enhance student life. The typical housing configuration is a furnished, two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment shared by up to four Stratford students of the same gender. In most cases, two students will share a bedroom. Other higher-cost housing configurations may be available upon request. CHS is currently placing students in four apartment complexes (Tysons Glen, Devonshire Square, Riverside Park, and Foxchase of Alexandria). Other apartment complexes may bring online from time-to-time. The CHS shared roommate program has helped thousands of students by providing a flexible leasing environment that takes care of many housing headaches. Students are able to concentrate on preparing themselves for school and their studies while leaving the housing hassles to the student housing professionals. Since students are placed on individual leases, they are protected from a roommate’s inability or unwillingness to pay their share of the rent. It should be noted that Stratford and CHS are independent corporate entities.

Stratford University has formed a Joint Venture with the K. K. Modi Group to delivery American education in India. The name of the Joint Venture is the Modi-ATI Academic Institute (MAII). ATI is the parent company of Stratford University. Business and IT undergraduate and graduate programs are being offered at the current time. Additional programs will be added based on market demand. It should be noted that completion of a Stratford program in India does not qualify for any type of employment authorization in the US.
