The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program is focused on the acquisition of theory and application of technical competencies associated with the information technology profession. The courses prepare students with fundamental knowledge in core technologies, such as systems analysis and design, programming, database design, network architecture and administration, Web technologies and application development, implementation and maintenance. The multimedia and visual communication concentration of the bsit focuses on the application of effective technical communication and design principles in the development of various digital media. The skill set obtained in this concentration prepares graduates to facilitate internal and external communications, information content management, and training and marketing materials in any organizational setting.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have earned a high school diploma, GED, California High School Proficiency Examination certificate, or foreign secondary school equivalent. Students who do not currently meet this requirement can arrange to take the GED through their state GED administrator's office or search for the nearest GED testing center. They can be currently employed. If not currently employed, they must have access to an organizational environment that allows them to apply the concepts they learn in their courses. Also they can be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or hold an approved, valid visa if attending a campus located in the United States. Students should pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC), the Berlitz Online English Proficiency Exam or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) if the student is a non-native speaker of English.
