Ringkasan program
Students in the advertising/integrated marketing communications specialization learn to analyze problems in, and identify solutions for, the promotion of goods and services through integrated marketing communications. They develop skills in verbal and visual communication and presentation of IMC materials. The program prepares students to enter a wide variety of positions with marketing communications firms (including advertising, sales promotion, public relations and direct marketing agencies) in the communications media and with retail or manufacturing firms.
Modul program
The courses are: JRNL 301 Principle of Advertising/IMC, JRNL 302 Copywriting (Engl ACT score (22+) or ENGL 290, JRNL 301), SPCM 281 Intro to Public Relations, JRNL 303 Creative Adv. Messages (JRNL 301, JRNL 302), MKTG 304 Intro to Mktg Mgmt(JR) (Not JRNL class credit), JRNL 304 Placing Advertising/IMC (JRNL 301, MKTG 304), JRNL 405 Intro Mass Comm Research (JRNL 302 or JRNL 310), JRNL 406 Advertising/IMC Campaigns (JRNL 303, JRNL 304, JRNL 405), JRNL 407 Social Issues and Advertising (SR), JRNL Electives 6 Hours.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicant should have secondary school certificates or mark sheet and all college/university transcripts. They should also submit the scores from the American College Test (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and should have a bank statement or letter from their sponsor, with the financial statement attached, and return it with their admission application. Successful completion of the TOEFL examination with the following scores - 520 (PB), 190 (CB), 68 (IB) and score of 6.5 on the IELTS Exam are required for admission.
