Ringkasan program
This program in the journalism of technology, science, and business has strengths in these areas. But students also take seriously journalists' responsibilities to their communities large and small, present and future and to the world at large. That's why the curriculum has two large concentrations of courses: (1) journalism, and related subjects such as humanities and social science, and (2) technology, science, and business. In fact, students will do about 3.5 semesters of the 8 semesters' worth of course work in both of these areas, with the remaining semester's worth in inter-professional projects (IPROs) and free electives.
Modul program
The courses are:Introductory courses in biology, chemistry, and physics, Calculus I, Principles of Economics, Object-Oriented Programming, Journalism Course work (35 hours), Introduction to Journalism, Technical Communication, Technical Communication, Editing, Intercultural Communication, Mass Media and Society, Moral and Legal Issues in Communication, Supervised Field Projects.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have 4 years of English, 4 years of Mathematics, including Pre-Calculus, 3 years of Science, including 2 years of labs, 2 years of Social Sciences, Computer technology, and other courses recommended, but not required. 2 years of a foreign language is also required. Students should have TOEFL score of 550 on the paper test, 213 on the computer based test or 80 on the Internet-based test or a minimum overall score of 6.5 on the IELTS. All freshman students and Transfer students with less than 30 credit hours are required to take either the SAT I or ACT test.
