Ringkasan program

This program offer hands-on experiences both in the laboratory, and in the jointly run SilverHearts Program. Students in exercise physiology courses learn and apply information directly through lab experiences. Examples of laboratory experiences include measuring oxygen consumption, using a 12-lead ECG monitor, and collecting blood samples for analysis of lactic acid and glucose. The SilverHearts Program is a senior-adult fitness program jointly coordinated with the TWU Wellness Center. In this program Kinesiology students will work directly with the seniors through a supervised practicum experience.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have graduated from a regionally accredited high school, attained at least a 2.0 high school grade point average on a 4.0 scale, have class ranking which places them in the top 50 percent of their high school graduating class, scored at least 1000 (verbal and math sections only) on the SAT OR scored 21 or above composite on the ACT Assessment. In additional, they should have completed at least 14 academic credits of the new recommended Texas high school graduation program: English (4), Math (3 including Alg II), Science (2), Social Science (2- ECO and GOV required), Academic Electives (3).
