This program is an exciting and challenging field with national and international career opportunities in fashion-related textile, apparel, and home furnishings industries. Known for innovative programming and quality research, the Merchandising Division was the recipient of the American Textiles Manufacturers Institute Award for Excellence. In addition, professional development events, such as the annual Merchandising Expo, bring recruiters from major fashion and home furnishings companies to highlight career opportunities. Students in merchandising also have the opportunity to participate in Merchandising Inc., an organization open to any merchandising major. The organization helps students establish industry contacts and enhances their professional development.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have graduated from an accredited high school and strongly recommend that students take the following classes in high school. Students should have a strong ‘B’ average and have completed three units of English and two units each of solid mathematics, social science and natural science. Students should have a minimum combined SAT (combined critical reading/verbal and math) score of 1180 or ACT composite of 26. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
