The program is designed to prepare "Highly-Qualified" Elementary, Middle School and Special Education Mathematics Teachers. It is not an appropriate program for teachers who hold an undergraduate degree in mathematics.
Modul program
The courses are in The Numerical View, The Algebraic View, The Geometric View, Seminar, Mathematics in Science, Discrete Mathematics, Integrating Technology in the Mathematics Classroom, Data Analysis & Probability. The courses are in English Composition I and English Composition II, Oral Communication, Quantitative Analysis, Calculus I, Ethical and Moral Analysis, LIBERAL ARTS DISTRIBUTION, Language and Culture, Social and Behavioral Sciences, General Psychology, Growth & Development, Freshman Seminar, The Global Challenge, Perspectives on the Individual, Cross-cultural Perspectives, The American Experience, Adv. Engineering Math, Calculus II, Seminar in Professional Practice.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students seeking B.Sc. in Math / MAT will complete the liberal arts core requirements of University College and the required courses for B.Sc. in Math and MAT. The transcripts must be translated into English and be officially certified with a seal that it is an accurate and true translation. If these instructions are not followed, the transcript will be returned to the student. Forward proof of English proficiency through the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The University has strict requirements in this area and a minimum score of 515 (paper test) or 187 (computer- based test) on the TOEFL is essential. The Scores of GMAT, GRE are Essential.
