Ringkasan program
In this program, students take courses in physics at DePaul and engineering courses at another university, leading to degrees in both Physics and Engineering. Through a joint program with the Illinois Institute of Technology, students can complete a five-year dual-degree program while remaining full-time DePaul students. Additionally, students who are interested in engineering but who are not interested in the dual degree program will have the scientific basis to complete an engineering program at another institution after the first two years of the physics major curriculum at DePaul.
Modul program
The modules are courses are required for all Physics majors: PHY 170, 171, 172 (University Physics I, II, and III), PHY 270 (University Physics IV), PHY 300, 301 (Methods of Computational and Theoretical Physics I and II), MAT 260 (Multivariable Calculus I), MAT 160, 161, 162 (Calculus for Mathematics and Science Majors I, II, and III) or MAT 147, 148, 149 (Calculus with Integrated Precalculus I, II and III) or MAT 170, 171, 172 (Promath Calculus for Math and Science Majors I, II, and III), MAT 261 (Multivariable Calculus II), PHY 370 (Electronics), PHY 320, 321 (Electromagnetism I and II) or PHY 360, 361 (Quantum Mechanics I and II), two additional Physics courses at the 300 or 400 level as approved by advisor, CSC 261 (Programming Languages I: C/C++), CHE 111, 113 (General and Analytical Chemistry I and II), twenty quarter hours at 300/400 level from an accredited mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or aeronautical engineering program.

Applicants should have completed or are about to complete their secondary school education (high school) and have not taken any college or university coursework after finishing their secondary education. Applicants educated outside the US, regardless of their legal status, should have a proof of English proficiency. Applicants can prove their English proficiency by submitting any of the tests below: minimum TOEFL score of 80, no section lower than 17 (internet based), 213 (computer-based) or 550 (paper based); minimum IELTS score of 6.5; minimum SAT verbal score of 500; minimum ACT score of 18 on the reading section, and 20 on the English section and a minimum Pearson Test of English Academic score of 53.
