Ringkasan program
This program is intended for students that wish to apply their scientific training in a career outside of physics; this concentration allows students to combine a core physics curriculum with a minor from another field. Possible minors include journalism or technical writing for students interested in a career in science writing, economics for students interested in business, or biological sciences for students interested in biophysics.
Modul program
The modules are following courses are required for all Physics majors: PHY 170, 171, 172 (University Physics I, II, and III), PHY 270 (University Physics IV), PHY 300, 301 (Methods of Computational and Theoretical Physics I and II), MAT 260 (Multivariable Calculus I), MAT 160, 161, 162 (Calculus for Mathematics and Science Majors I, II, and III) or MAT 147, 148, 149 (Calculus with Integrated Precalculus I, II and III) or MAT 170, 171, 172 (Promath Calculus for Math and Science Majors I, II, and III), six additional Physics courses, at least three at the 300 level, as approved by a departmental advisor, six courses which constitute a minor in a second discipline, as approved by a departmental advisor.

Applicants should have completed or are about to complete their secondary school education (high school) and have not taken any college or university coursework after finishing their secondary education. Applicants educated outside the US, regardless of their legal status, should have a proof of English proficiency. Applicants can prove their English proficiency by submitting any of the tests below: minimum TOEFL score of 80, no section lower than 17 (internet based), 213 (computer-based) or 550 (paper based); minimum IELTS score of 6.5; minimum SAT verbal score of 500; minimum ACT score of 18 on the reading section, and 20 on the English section and a minimum Pearson Test of English Academic score of 53.
