Ringkasan program
This program prepares students with the necessary technical knowledge and skills, intellectual curiosity, and ethical awareness to become lifelong learners who contribute to society. This sequence is for individuals intending to have careers in physics. Usually these students continue in graduate education toward masters or doctoral degrees. It is a demanding but rewarding major.
Modul program
The modules include 41 semester hours including PHY 1930, 1940, 1950, 2460, 2150, 3210, 3220, 3230, 3250, 3260, 3270, 3280, 3290, and three elective credits approved by the Department. In addition, PHY majors must take MTH 1730, 1740, 2750, 3840.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have an average GPA of 88 or 3.3 on the 4.0 scale. They should also have an average SAT score of 1092 out of 1600 in math and critical reading. In addition to this, international students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL internet score of 61. A minimum IELTS score of 5.0 is also required.
