Ringkasan program
This program prepares students to practice competently and effectively as medical imaging professionals in diverse healthcare environments. The academic and clinical foundation in the curriculum develops graduates with professional flexibility and adaptability to assume prominent roles and responsibilities after graduation in both career and scholarly pursuits. The goals of the program are: develop competent, effective, imaging professionals, support development of skills necessary to practice in diverse healthcare environments and to acquire prominent roles in radiologic sciences, use curriculum, teaching methods, and philosophy to promote development of integrative, critical thinking, and communication skills to include written, verbal, and electronic, and have graduates who successfully pursue scholarly activities such as contributions to the profession and post-baccalaureate education.

Applicant should have junior standing (52 hrs by the semester of enrollment), a minimum GPA of 3.0, and have plans to complete most of UNC-CH's General College requirements (including BIOL 101, 101L, COMP 110, and MATH 231, 232, and 233) prior to enrollment. The average SAT-I score of admitted international students is about 1390 (on the critical reading and math sections of the SAT) and should have a competitive TOEFL score to be 250 (or 100 on the internet-based TOEFL or 600 on the paper-based TOEFL). An IELTS score of 7.0 or higher is accepted as an alternative to the TOEFL.
