Ringkasan program
The goal of rehabilitation is to help the person with a disability attain the highest level of self-sufficiency, independence, and functioning that he/she is capable of achieving. This may be realized through improved vocational activity, independent living skills, or competitive employment. The number of individuals in need of rehabilitation services is increasing and the programs being developed to meet those needs are continuing to expand.
Modul program
The modules include RE 290 Intro to Rehabilitation Programs, RE 291 Survey of Disabling Conditions, RE 301 Rehab Research and Report Writing, RE 305 Ethics in Human Services, RE 392 Survey of Mental/Psych Disabilities, RE 510 Helping Relationships in Counseling, RE 636 Introduction to Group Procedures, RE 640 Disab Policy and Human Serv Sys, RE 641 Case Management in Rehabilitation, RE 680 Independent Living and Advocacy, RE 692 Voc Information and Assessment, RE 695 Employment Issues in Rehabilitation, RE 699 Internship in Rehabilitation, RE 700 Seminar in Rehabilitation Services.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students who graduate from an accredited high school must meet one of the following three requirements: ACT composite of 21 or higher or Rank in the top third of the graduating class or A grade point average of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale in the recommended core curriculum courses. International student applicants whose language is not English must take the “Test of English as a Foreign Language” (TOEFL) and have the score sent directly to Emporia State University from the testing center. Applicants are responsible for making arrangements with the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and having their scores reported directly from ETS to the Office of International Education.
