This emphasis provides the student with a concentrated study in grassland ecology and rangeland management. It focuses on creating an understanding of grassland ecosystems including prairies, shrub-steppes and other rangeland ecosystems. Current societal demands for limited resources including open space, aesthetic values, wildlands for recreation and solitude coupled with global climate changes and introductions of exotic species will undoubtedly increase the complexity of management of public and private rangelands.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students applying for this program must have all the requested official English language proficiency score report. Students should have 61 iBT (173CBT/500PBT) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 5.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or 69 on the Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) or 440 on the SAT Writing Section or 18 on the Combined English/Writing section of the ACT. Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for freshman applicants or a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale for transfer applicants. The admissions office will determine grade point average if one is not available on a student's academic record. Students must have a statement of financial support that verifies that $ 25,563 will be available to the university to cover estimated costs for the academic year.
