Ringkasan program
This program seeks to explore and understand how science and technology shape culture, values, and institutions, and how such factors shape science and technology. Science and technology are closely linked to economics and commerce, politics and international relations, energy and the environment, health and medicine, and other crucial areas. Further, the STS program studies basic questions of equity, justice, and sustainability. With these connections in mind, STS examines how science and technology emerge, how they engage with society, how they change through social processes, and how society changes under their influence.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have a high school diploma or its equivalent and the following course units taken in high school: six course units in languages; four course units of mathematics; three course units in science; two course units in social studies. International students should have a minimum TOEFL score of 79 on the internet based exam, 213 on the computer-based exam, 550 or higher on the paper based exam; an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher; completion of Level 6 with a grade of B or higher on the Intensive English program are required for admission.
