Ringkasan program
This program is a professional baccalaureate degree, which requires an additional fifth year of studio-intensive, independent work. The fifth year BFA builds on the understanding and abilities gained over the previous four years in the BA/BS curriculum. Through medium-specific seminars, independent studies, interdisciplinary critique colloquia, art history and theory seminars, BFA students synthesize an individual approach to making and thinking. Students work intensively in their studios to develop an independent body of work culminating in the BFA terminal project exhibition in the spring. Study involves a fifth year of intensive studio work in painting, beyond the four-year BA/BS degree in Art. It is designed to help students make the transition from class work to an independent body of work, which will prepare them for artistic practice or graduate school. Emphasizing studio practice, students are provided with full-time, shared studio space and are expected to develop rigorous and consistent work habits. Via independent study with the faculty, students develop and extend their work.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have satisfactorily completed high school (secondary school) with a B average or a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale. Students must have a minimum score of 500 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language or 61 on the internet-based TOEFL or a minimum score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
