Ringkasan program
This program is a professional baccalaureate degree, which requires an additional fifth year of studio-intensive, independent work. The fifth year BFA builds on the understanding and abilities gained over the previous four years in the BA/BS curriculum. Through medium-specific seminars, independent studies, interdisciplinary critique colloquia, art history and theory seminars, BFA students synthesize an individual approach to making and thinking. Students work intensively in their studios to develop an independent body of work culminating in the BFA terminal project exhibition in the spring. The BFA program in printmaking is completed during a fifth year of intensive study and culminates in an exhibition and written thesis. Students are expected to produce a body of work that is technically competent, conceptually challenging and critically aware. The BFA program is comprised of one-on-one studio critiques with faculty, seminars, art history courses, and intensive study of conceptual, formal and technical matters related to print media and artistic practice. Critical insights from faculty help students to develop mature personal work responsive to the issues defining the field today.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have satisfactorily completed high school (secondary school) with a B average or a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale. Students must have a minimum score of 500 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language or 61 on the internet-based TOEFL or a minimum score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
