Ringkasan program
This program is designed to prepare students for the national examination for medical technology certification administered by the American Society of Clinical pathologists (ASCP) and the National certification Agency (NCA) for Medical Laboratory Personnel. Students complete a minimum of 95 semester hours at UNT prior to entering clinical training and a minimum of 12 months of clinical training with a minimum of 39 semester hours at any National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences approved school of medical technology to complete the degree.

The modules include BIOL 1710/1730 - Principles of Biology I with laboratory, BIOL 2040 - Biology of Microorganisms, BIOL 3380 - Medical Bacteriology, BIOL 3510/3520 - Cell Biology with laboratory, BIOL 3800/3810 - Animal Physiology with laboratory, BIOL 4200 - Immunology, BIOL 3451/3452 - Genetics with laboratory, BIOL 4090 - Parasitology, BIOL 4300 - Histology, BIOL 4570 - Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the Gene, BIOL 4770 - Biotechnology, CHEM 1410/1430 - General Chemistry I with laboratory, CHEM 1420/1440 - General Chemistry II with laboratory, CHEM 3601/3602- Organic Chemistry with laboratory, BIOC 3621/3622 - Elementary Biochemistry with laboratory, MATH 1680 - Elementary Probability and Statistics, MGMT 3720 - Organizational Behavior, ENGL 2700 - Technical Writing.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have graduated from an accredited high school recognized by the home country ministry of education. They must have completed the following courses in high school which includes four credits in English (English I-IV), four credits in mathematics (algebra I, geometry, algebra II and pre-calculus), four credits in science (to be selected from biology, chemistry, environmental sciences and physics), four credits in social sciences (world geography, world history studies, U.S. government and economics and U.S. history), two credits in foreign language Levels I-III proficiency of the same language) ,minimum of half credit in health, one credit in fine arts, one and half credits in physical education, one credit in computer science, three and half credits in electives and half credit in speech. Students should have a minimum combined SAT (combined critical reading/verbal and math) score of 1180 or ACT composite of 26. Also international students must have demonstrate their English language proficiency with a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 in paper based, 213 in computer based ,or a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band, and with a minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
