Ringkasan program
This program is designed to prepare students for the financial services market at the individual level. Successful completion of the professional field qualifies students to register for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) comprehensive examination. Professionals in the field may put their expertise to use in: investment planning, insurance and risk management, federal taxation, estate and trust planning, retirement planning, employee benefit planning, financial management, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics to help clients maximize and conserve their wealth. By studying financial services, they may become a financial manager for a business, government agency or nonprofit organization. They can work for a bank, credit card company, insurance company, consumer finance organization or brokerage house as a stockbroker. They could even own a private practice.
Modul program
The modules include FINA 4200 Investments, RMIN 2500 Principles of Risk and Insurance Management, RMIN 4400 Employee Benefit Programs, RMIN 4500 Estate Planning, ACCT 4300 Federal Income Taxation, FINA 4400 Financial Markets and Institutions, FINA 4500 International Finance, REAL 4000 Real Estate Finance, or REAL 4300, Real Estate Investments.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have graduated from an accredited high school and strongly recommend that students take the following classes in high school. Students should have a strong ‘B’ average and have completed three units of English and two units each of solid mathematics, social science and natural science. Students should have a minimum combined SAT (combined critical reading/verbal and math) score of 1180 or ACT composite of 26. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
