Ringkasan program

This program emphasizes intellectual, creative and technical growth. Course work exposes students to a wide variety of New Media Art practices ranging from time-based to interactive and kinetic art. Students are empowered though the development of self-discipline, cultural awareness, and personal voice. Students will take courses in time-based media, video art, experimental animation, experimental 3D art, interactive art and kinetic art. This program is actively involved with UNT’s iARTA (Initiative for Advanced Research in Technology and the Arts) research cluster, which provides students unique opportunities to collaborate and take classes with students and faculty from a variety of other colleges and departments such as Engineering, the College of Music and the Department of Radio, Film and Television.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have graduated from an accredited high school and strongly recommend that students take the following classes in high school. Students should have a strong ‘B’ average and have completed three units of English and two units each of solid mathematics, social science and natural science. Students should have a minimum combined SAT (combined critical reading/verbal and math) score of 1180 or ACT composite of 26. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
