Ringkasan program

This program provides students with an undergraduate education in clinical laboratory science and prepares graduates to become certified medical technologists and/or pursue post-baccalaureate studies in graduate, medical, dental, optometry, pharmacy, or vet school. In this program, student and are looking for a four year degree to prepare students for entry into graduate school or a professional program, they have a great curriculum specifically designed to meet their career goals and provide students with a solid theoretical foundation for further study in the clinical sciences. Students will learn the pathophysiology of diseases in five major areas of study: chemistry, immunology, transfusion medicine, microbiology, and hematology. Students will learn detailed information about laboratory analysis, laboratory data and disease correlations. This curriculum (non-certification curriculum) is more flexible and can be tailored to meet their career goals by accommodating additional coursework that may be necessary for their post-baccalaureate program of choice. Graduates from this program are not eligible to sit for the national certifying examinations for medical technologists/clinical laboratory scientists.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have a successful completion of four years of a university preparatory curriculum (also known as college preparatory curriculum or college prep) while in the final four years (grades 9-12) of high school/secondary school such as four units of English, three (four)units of math, three units of natural science with significant lab experience, two (three) units of social science, two (three) units of the same foreign language, one unit of a visual or performing art, one additional unit of the above courses and they must possess the performance in high school/secondary school as shown by class rank or grade point average. They should have the SAT critical reading and verbal score of at least 500 and ACT English score of at least 21. International applicants whose native language is not English must have results from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of at least 527 on the paper based test, 71 on the Internet-based test, score of at least 79 on the Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) and an official band score of at least 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
