Ringkasan program
This program prepares students for an exciting profession in broadcasting, advertising or news editing. This option combines a background in family science with skills in writing, speaking and/or designing publications or advertising.

The modules include 401/801 Family and Consumer Sciences Curriculum, 401A/801A Family and Consumer Sciences Education Practicum I, 402/802Family and Consumer Sciences Method of Instruction, 402A/802A Family and Consumer Sciences Education Practicum II, 413/813 Student Teaching in Family and Consumer Sciences, BRDC 369 News Videography, BRDC 370 Broadcast News Writing, BRDC 372 Advanced Reporting for Broadcasting.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
The students must have the equivalent of a B average or higher in high school. The SAT and ACT are not required for international students, however the SAT is highly recommended. Test scores are influential not only for admission but also for scholarship consideration. A TOEFL score of 523 (Paper-based exam), 70 (Internet-based exam) or 193 (Computer-based exam) is required. An IELTS score of 6.0 is acceptable.
