Ringkasan program
This program is designed to prepare students for employment in various areas of applied mathematics. It can also be used to prepare for graduate work in certain fields (e.g., statistics, physics, computer science, or economics).

MATH 425, Calculus I, MATH 426, Calculus II, MATH 527, Differential Equations with Linear Algebra, MATH 528, Multidimensional Calculus, MATH 531, Mathematical Proof or MATH 545, Introduction to Linear Algebra and Mathematical Proof, MATH 539, Introduction to Statistical Analysis, MATH 645, Linear Algebra for Applications, MATH 525-526, Linearity I-II; in this case MATH 531 must be taken. If MATH 545 is taken, credit may not be earned for MATH 645 so that students must choose a MATH elective in consultation with their adviser. MATH 646, Intro. to Partial Diff. Equations, MATH 647, Complex Analysis for Applications, MATH 753, Intro. to Numerical Methods I, CS 410, Introduction to Scientific Programming, PHYS 407, General Physics I, PHYS 408, General Physics II, which satisfies two Group 3 requirements for General Education. PHYS 505, General Physics III, PHYS 506, General Physics III Lab, Three PHYS courses chosen from: PHYS 508, Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics, PHYS 616, Physical Mechanics, PHYS 701, Intro. to Quantum Mechanics I, PHYS 702, Intro. to Quantum Mechanics II, PHYS 703, Electricity and Magnetism I, PHYS 704, Electricity and Magnetism II, PHYS 708, Optics.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have proof of English language proficiency as determined by the results of the TOEFL or IELTS. Native English speakers do not need to submit test results. TOEFL scores must be sent directly from the College Board. Recommended minimum TOEFL score is 80 (internet version), 550 (paper version), 213 (computer version). IELTS scores must be sent directly from the testing agency. Recommended minimum IELTS score is 6.5.
