The CEE Fast-track MS program is designed to enable TTU CEE undergraduates to accumulate up to six credit hours of graduate coursework while still pursuing their undergraduate degree and to transition to the graduate program with anticipated accelerated completion. Up to six hours of graduate coursework, exclusive of directd study, taken during the student's senior year can be used to satisfy both undergraduate and graduate degree requirements ("double counted"). These courses must be taken at Tennessee Tech University and must be approved as appropriate substitutions in the undergraduate curriculum for senior CEE electives.

Students should have completed an MS degree in an academic area appropriate to the proposed area of study and to have earned an MS GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, total of at least 1000 on the verbal and quantitative portions of the General Test of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) along with a 3.5 score on the analytical writing portion of the test, and three letters of recommendation from faculty familiar with the academic ability of the applicant. International students must score at least 550 (213 computer-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
