Ringkasan program
This program teach the physical laws which explain the workings of the universe and which are the foundation of the technology. Students also learn how to apply these laws to different situations. In applying the laws of physics to solve physics problems, students get training in analytical skills and laboratory methods. A knowledge of physics is valuable in the job market, and a large number of employers are looking for the problem solving skills which physics develops.

The courses are: PHYS 210 - General Physics I and PHYS 211 - General Physics II and PHYS 252 - Intermediate General Physics or PHYS 253 - Fundamentals of Physics I: Mechanics and PHYS 273 - Fundamentals of Physics II: Electromagnetism, PHYS 283 - Fundamentals of Physics III: Quantum Physics, PHYS 284 - Quantum Physics Laboratory, PHYS 300 - Analytical Mechanics I, PHYS 320 - Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics, PHYS 367 - Waves and Vibrations, PHYS 370 - Electricity and Magnetism I, PHYS 374 - Introduction to Experimental Physics, PHYS 375 - Laboratory Electronics I, PHYS 494 - Use of Technology in Secondary Science Teaching, PHYS 495 - Teaching of Physical Sciences, PHYS 498 - Senior Seminar or PHYS 499H - Senior Project in Physics.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should possess High School Diploma and should have GPA score of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 (USA) scale or be in the upper-half of their graduating class. Applicants who have a GPA of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale or are in the upper-half of the class must have ACT composite score of at least 19 and SAT score of 870-900. Applicants who have 2.50 on a 4.00 scale or are in the upper two-thirds of the class must have ACT composite score of at least 23 and SAT score of 1030-1050. Students should have TOEFL scores which includes 527 on a paper based test, 197 on computer-based test or 71 on an internet based test. IELTS Score includes 6.0. Students need not submit TOEFL/IELTS score, if they can prove English is recognized as their countries' native language and if they have attended a US High School for more than 1 year.
