Uraian Tempat

This college occupies three floors of the nursing/pharmacy building located within the health sciences center complex. The building houses nursing classrooms and seminar rooms, faculty offices, student services offices, student nurses association offices, and skills laboratories. The Health Sciences Center Library is adjacent to the College. The Health Sciences Center is comprised of this college, School of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, and Allied Health Departments. Clinical facilities include the University of New Mexico Hospital, a nationally recognized Cancer Research and Treatment Center, University Children's Hospital, a children's rehabilitation hospital, a Mental Health Center, and a Children's Psychiatric Hospital. UNM Children's Hospital and Critical Care Pavilion opened in June 2007. The 476,555 square foot expansion, provides six new floors of clinical space, including a maternity center, newborn intensive care unit, adult critical care units, emergency and trauma services, private patient rooms, and two dedicated floors for UNM Children's Hospital.

The university's Residence Life Office believes the residence halls are more than just a place to sleep and study. In addition to academics, the residence life staff plans activities and programs to foster social interaction and develop well-rounded students. This is done through the work of resident advisors, student head residents, desk, mailroom and security staff, and community association members. They also provide para-professional counseling and enforce policies. Residence life includes: hall community associations, resident advisors, social and educational activities, residence hall desks, student discipline, counseling, security, conflict mediation. Students are responsible for cleaning their rooms. Maid and custodian services are provided for public areas of the halls on a Monday through Friday basis, washers and dryers are provided in each residence hall. Mail is distributed through the central mail room facility located behind the 24 Hour Desk in the Student Residence Center Commons Building, vending machines are located in the residence halls for convenience of the residents, a limited number of refrigerator units available for rent each semester. Students wishing to store firearms or other weapons (hunting knives, archery, fencing, or martial arts equipment) may do so at the Campus Police Station. The Computer POD is located on the second floor in the Student Residence Center and is managed by student housing's ResNet staff. POD computers are for the exclusive use of residence hall students.
