This Clinical Training Program is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association and is admin-istered by the Director of Clinical Training in conjunc¬tion with a committee composed of clinical faculty and four student representatives. The program is eclectic and broadly based, with divergent viewpoints represented. Students have considerable flexibility in developing their curriculum and may opt to bridge areas within the department. The goal of this scientist-practitioner program is to train psychologists who are expert in the development and application of knowledge aimed at understanding and improving human functioning. Students receive training in both research and the direct application of clinical skills (assessment and intervention), and enjoy some flexibility in how much emphasis they place on each. However, all students are expected to develop a substantial background in research design, methodol¬ogy, and associated research techniques and to maintain active involvement in research.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicant must have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution of higher learning. The applicant must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (B average) or better for admissions. A minimum score of 500 (173 on computer-based exam or 61 on new iBT exam) or better on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for applicants whose first language is not English (Individual departments may require higher scores.).
