This program offer students the opportunity to earn two degrees- an MS in Occupational Therapy and MPH in a concurrent program. Occupational therapists are professionals who specialize in the promotion of meaningful activity engagement as a conduit to health and quality of life. Traditionally employed in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, private practices, nursing homes, and schools, occupational therapists assist individuals with illness or disability to resume participation in valued activities. More recently, occupational therapists have demonstrated critical roles in fostering health through activity adaptation in community agencies, work-related ergonomics programs, and NIH-funded intervention trials.

Applicants must hold a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution. Official transcripts from all previous postsecondary institution courses, An undergraduate record with a grade point average of 3.0 or better in the major course of study is preferred, Graduate Record Examination (GRE), Medical College Application Test (MCAT), Law School Admission Test (LSAT), Dental Admission Test (DAT) or Optometry Admission Test (OAT) scores received within five years of application are required for admission. A score of 1100 or higher is preferred. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores are required of applicants from non-English speaking nations. A minimum TOEFL score of 550 is required.
