Ringkasan program
This program is a four year post-baccalaureate degree that focuses on preparing highly qualified specialists in audiology. The program includes education in the basic sciences and disorders as well as practical experience with outstanding clinical training. The curriculum includes courses dealing with the scientific bases of audiology including acoustics and instrumentation, anatomy and physiology of the auditory and nervous systems, and auditory and speech perception. Clinical coursework includes diagnostic audiology, pediatric audiology, central auditory processing disorders, industrial audiology, medical audiology, auditory pathology, auditory evoked potentials, otoacoustic emissions, vestibular assessment, amplification and cochlear implants. The program requires three years of academic coursework and clinical practicum. A competency-based clinical exam is administered after the first year is completed (The Gateway Exam) to assure that students have basic knowledge and skills of audio logical assessment and treatment. The fourth year of the program consists of a full-time externship (taking place of the Clinical Fellowship Year or CFY). It is expected that students will accrue more than 2000 hours of clinical practicum during their four years of the program. Students also complete a research project during their second and third years of the program.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in communicative disorders or speech and hearing Sciences.. Students who do not hold a bachelor's degree in communicative disorders should have equivalent coursework, pre-requisite undergraduate-level courses must be completed prior to taking graduate-level courses. This can usually be accomplished in two semesters. Scores of GRE is required. All applicants who are not native speakers of English must demonstrate proficiency in English with a minimum TOEFL score of 79 on (IBT); 550 (PBT) or a score of 6.5 IELTS (with no subsection score below 6.0).
