Ringkasan program
In this dual program advocacy is central to the mission of both the law and social work professions. Education in both disciplines provides professionals with unique knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of serving vulnerable populations and combating injustice. The required law school curriculum for this joint degree program includes the law school's first and second-year required courses and the course in professional responsibility. Candidates spend their second year of the program primarily in the School of Social Work working on the required core curriculum for the MSW degree. Students are required to complete a concentration in the School of Social Work in the second through fourth years of the program, which includes a social work practicum/internship. Candidates are also required to write a research paper on a topic that addresses the fields of law and social work and that is designed to meet the advanced writing requirements of the law school.

This program module includes 82 credit hours of law courses; 50 credit hours of social work courses; social work practicum/internship; research paper.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution, completion of one course in statistics, course work in liberal arts demonstrated by the successful completion of a minimum of six courses in social or behavioral science with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of the undergraduate degree and GRE score on the quantitative section is at least 650 and above and for the analytical writing section is at least 4.0 and above. International applicants must have a minimum TOEFL score of 650 (paper-based version), 250 (computer-based version), total score 100 (Internet-based version) or an IELTS score of 7.5 - 8.0 or successful completion of ELS Language Centers Intensive Program Level 112. Students from Japan must have a "Pre-First Grade" score on the STEP Eiken.
