Ringkasan program
The curriculum prepares the graduate to practice at the highest level of advanced practice nursing. The program objectives are to provide students with the skills to manage health care of individuals and/or communities in complex health care systems, conduct research utilization studies to innovate practice, influence health care policy at the local, state, and national level, and assume leadership roles in health care. The DNP program has three entry points, depending upon prior educational experiences. The entry points include the non-BSN prepared entry for students with a bachelor's degree in a discipline other than nursing to include licensed registered nurses who do not hold a BSN; the BSN-prepared entry; and the Masters in Nursing-prepared entry.

The core courses include NURS 737 - Seminar on Advanced Practice Roles, NURS 734 - Conceptual Basis of Health Systems, NURS 779 - Health Politics, NURS 781 - Applied Technology in Health Care, NURS 805 - Advanced Nursing Leadership, NURS 808 - Advanced Nursing in Population Health, NURS 819 - Evidence and Nursing Practice, NURS 820 - Nursing Leadership Residency, NURS 821 - Research Utilization Preparation, NURS 898 - Research Internship.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have earned a baccalaureate in nursing from an accredited college or university. International students whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by obtaining minimum TOEFL score of 570 (paper-based) or 230 (computer-based). Applicants may also take the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) in lieu of the TOEFL. A minimum score of 6.5 is required for the IELTS. Admission also requires submission of scores on either the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Miller Analogies Test (MAT).
