Ringkasan program

This program educates clinicians for leadership roles in a specialized area of advanced practice with an emphasis on: Philosophical, ethical, and scientific principles that provide the foundation for leadership in professional nursing care; Continued acquisition of knowledge and clinical skills in an area of advanced practice specialization; Analysis and examination of practice including completion of the Residency Project during the clinical residency year. Students are assigned to work closely with a faculty advisor/mentor within the faculty advisor’s program of practice. Faculty programs of practice with specialty focus exist within the following clinical tracks: Primary Care; Acute Critical Care, Forensic Nursing, Gerontology, Psychiatric/Family Nurse Practitioner, and Public Health Nursing.

For Post Bachelor’s Professional Entry for individuals holding a BSN or MSN-CNL degree in nursing from a program accredited by a national organization (NLNAC or CCNE) responsible for nursing accreditation. For Post MSN Advanced Practice for individuals holding a MSN degree in nursing with advanced practice credentials from a program accredited by a national organization (NLNAC or CCNE) responsible for nursing accreditation. Only applicants with cumulative GPA >3.0 based on all collegiate work or cumulative GPA > 3.2 earned during applicant’s most recently completed degree program will be considered for admission. GPA calculation for most recently completed degree will be based only grades earned at degree-granting institution.
