Ringkasan program
The Doctor of Pharmacy program is known as a “1-5” program. This means that 1 year of prerequisites are required before 5 years of pharmacy school. The 5 years of pharmacy school consists of 4 years of class work followed by the 5th year being out on Rotations. The prerequisite year, courses may be taken at UMKC or at any other accredited colleges. Rotations consist of students stepping out of the classroom and into real world experience at actual pharmacy sites being trained first hand by licensed pharmacists. Each rotation covers a different area of pharmacy which not only allows students the experience they need, but also allows students to see the wide variety of careers that are offered to pharmacists.

Students must submit official copies of academic credentials - with literal English translation. All previous academic work must be included, and a syllabus of coursework with English translation should be provided. Students should have an official TOEFL or IELTS Score Report sent - for all applicants for whom English is not their native language. They must also have official GRE, GMAT or other test score report sent. International Students must submit Statement of Finances. Students must copy their information/photo page as in the passport and Letters of Recommendation and/or other supplemental materials required by the academic unit.
