Ringkasan program
The program is custom tailored for individual student needs and professional goals. The program is made possible by a diversity of faculty interests that are broadened and reinforced by cooperation between the department and several research centers on the campus. Graduates in the chemical engineering area are sought by industry for activities in the more technical aspects of their operations, especially design, process and product development, and research. Many of these graduates also find opportunities in research or project work in government agencies and in university teaching and research. In addition to an approved course and thesis program, the Ph.D. student must pass a qualification examination given during the second year of residence.
Modul program
The modules include CHE 400 Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, CHE 401 Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics II, CHE 410 Chemical Reaction Engineering, CHE 413 Heterogeneous Catalysis and Surface Characterization, CHE 415 Transport Processes, CHE 419 (MECH 419) Asymptotic Methods in the Engineering Sciences, CHE 428 Rheology, CHE 430 Mass Transfer.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
The Minimum required score for TOEFL are as follows: Internet Based TOEFL (iBT) Writing - 20, Speaking - 20, Reading - 20, Listening - 15, Composite = 79. Applicants must exceed all minimum section scores and exceed the composite minimum scores. If the TOEFL iBT is currently not available in their home country students may still submit computer or paper-based scores. A minimum score of 550 for paper based scores or 213 for computer based scores is required.
