Ringkasan program
This program is designed to combine the technical and managerial aspects of construction projects. The major goals of the graduate programs are to expose students to the latest advancements in technology applications and project management systems; to enhance the decision making process by creating an innovation seeking and research "mind set"; to create an awareness of the global aspects of construction management; and to prepare graduates to manage various functions of complex construction projects. The doctor of philosophy in construction management is designed to provide students with the ability to conduct research on construction management including management theories and their applications in various sectors of the construction industry and to serve as educators, researchers and professionals in the field of construction management.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students are required to complete their bachelor’s degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree, as well as high scholastic standing and suitable preparation for the intended field of study. Students should have obtained a grade point average of 3.0 or above. Students whose first language is not English and who are admitted to Michigan State University with regular admission must meet one of the following language proficiency requirements. They should have also obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 80 on internet based test (with no sub score below 19 for reading, listening, and speaking; no writing sub score below 22) and 550 on paper based test (with no sub score below 52). An IELTS score of 6.5 or higher is also required. An average score of at least 80 to 85 with no subs score below 80 is required for Michigan State University English Language Test (MSUELT) and an average score of 83 or higher (with no sub score below 80) is required for Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB).
