Ringkasan program
This program is designed with an emphasis in the development of skills in scientific inquiry and leadership. Students enrolled in this study program gain an understanding of philosophy and theory as they relate to the conduct of research and program evaluation. Graduates pursue careers in schools, institutions of higher education, research centers and agencies that require the competencies developed through a Ph.D. course of study.
Modul program
Core Curriculum Requirement - 29 units: ESP 760 Professional Seminar in Special Education (3 units), ESP 784 Seminar in Advanced Special Education Technology (3 units), ESP 782 Leadership Seminar in Special Education (3 units), ESP 785 Issues, Trends and Futures in Special Education (3 units), ESP 783 Single Subject Methods in Special Education (3 units), ESP 732 Grant Writing for Human Services (3 units), ESP 750 Philosophical and Ethical Principles in Special Education (3 units), ESP 796 Dissertation Prospectus (2 units), EPY 721 Descriptive and Inferential Statistics (3 units), EPY 722 Inferential Statistics and Experimental Design (3 units). Internship - 3-6 units, ESP 794 Internship in Special Education (Research), Research Requirement - 9 units. Course work in such classes as: EPY 790 Research Design (3 units), EPY 716 Evaluation Research Methods (3 units), EPY 718 Qualitative Research, Methodologies (3 units), STA 713 Experimental Design (3 units). Leadership Studies Requirement - 9 units: ESP 794 Internship in Special Education (Teaching).

Students must have the Masters degree in education or related discipline, 3.5 GPA for all graduate work, Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical GRE scores, International Students: 550 on the TOFEL.
