This specialization allows the students to explore their own nonprofit research interests while deepening their knowledge of contemporary business and social issues faced by nonprofit leaders. The specialization includes nonprofit-focused course work in workplace diversity, board management, advocacy, fundraising, ethics, program management, and resource management. People who choose this specialization often wish to pursue higher education faculty or leadership positions in nonprofit organizations or are considering starting their own nonprofit organization.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants should have completed master’s degree from an institution accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency or an internationally recognized institution. They should have obtained a cumulative GPA of 3.00 from a master’s degree granting institution. International students whose language of instruction is not English are required to take one of the following tests: the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum acceptable score of 550 on paper-based test, 213 on computer-based test with a score of 4.0 or higher on the Test of Written English (TWE), or 79 on internet based examination; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) score of 80; International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a score of 6.5; or Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 59.
